I love your poem-paintings. In a way they remind me of William Blake - but your colors are much more vivid. They remind me also of the chromatists (synchromists) - I think that’s what they were called. They were American contemporaries of the Cubists. I saw their paintings at a New York museum. They played with colours instead of forms like the cubists. They splashed their canvasses with such vivid colours. Their paintings were things of joy - like yours.
